Strategy and action plans

The five-year strategy of the Ombudsman for Children is based on the views received from children and the work that the Ombudsman for Children has conducted in Finnish society for already 20 years.

Every year, the Ombudsman for Children describes the focus areas of the Ombudsman’s duties in the action plan and how they relate to the activities of different administrative branches.

In 2025, the Ombudsman for Children will strengthen the work on equity issues in
education.
